International working class solidarity is not transmitted through the multinational organs of capitalist rule. Those organs are by definition, origin, purpose the organizations of the ruling class, of the class opposed to the international unity of workers. So…….
So why wouldn’t or shouldn’t workers in Britain oppose the British capital’s solidarity with the European bourgeoisie?
Why shouldn’t workers in Britain express their solidarity with workers in Greece, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Hungary, by opposing the austerity policies which, while capable of being imposed locally without the EU, are in fact made stronger by the union of the bourgeoisie, and therefore opposing British contribution, or participating in the agreements imposing such austerity?
Why wouldn’t workers in Britain, in opposition to their own bourgeoisie’s repressive anti-immigrant policies, oppose the EU policies that advocate military action against “human smugglers” in Libya, ship refugees back to Syria, and erect border walls to “hold back” the immigrants fleeing the economic destruction wreaked upon them by the European bourgeoisie themselves?
