Well TACO did it again. Overnight he went from unconditional surrender and regime change rhetoric to thank you Iran and now China can buy oil from you. WWIII averted for now. How stupid to declare victory when imperialists did not reach their objectives. US, UK, France, Germany, and Israel could not bring the regime in Iran down to its knees. Must be humiliating!

I’m just wondering what went on behind the scenes between the regime in Iran and Russia-China. Were Russia and China ready to step in to support and confront imperialists directly or indirectly?

    • China for the first time is beginning to assert itself. Thus far it has not intervened anywhere but I have a feeling they are close. I believe that if Iran was on the ropes it would have intervened. Up to now the Pentagon has always asserted it had an edge over China, I don’t think that’s the case any longer. The Chinese always played for time and I believe they have been successful in this, but the time will surely come when both have run out of time.

The Belt and Road is central to their strategy in countering the West and Iran is a pivotal player in this game of Go and sooner or later, they are going to have to get off the fence.
