But it was obvious that the ‘negotiations’ were fake, that they were designed to give cover for the inevitable and create the false impression that the US was the neutral actor. Furthermore, it was Iran’s release of the fake evidence that the IAEA was in the pay of USIsrael that was the catalyst for the Israeli attack on Iran. The game was up! The IAEA was the justification for Israel’s attack.

From the get-go the clerical regime in Iran knew that imperialists would not tolerate their political independence and so to protect themselves from Imperialist’s proxy, i.e. Israel, they built what they referred to as axis of resistance which acted as a buffer consisting of Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria. It makes sense that the attack would take place now that the buffer has been taken out. As you pointed out this was not about an existential threat to Israel. This was about geopolitical strategizing. This was about installing a puppet regime in Iran. Their main candidate is former Shah’s son who lives in Maryland. I would not rule out a Coup d’etat from within the regime. Possible candidate would be the former prime minister Moussavi who has been under house arrest for many years. I believe there was a fatal miscalculation by the imperialists that this would be the opportunity for Iranians to rise and topple the regime. As much as there is discontent and hatred of the regime Iranians will not do that for two reasons. One is that people know what they don’t want but also don’t know what they want, and the other reason is that they would rather not get involved and will not resist an outside force imposing a regime change. Instead of pouring into the streets opposing the regime they are leaving town. This regime will fight to the end. They haven’t played all their cards namely closing of the Hormoz Straight and threatening the neighboring Arab states. This is a do or die situation for them. I also think that this will likely not be a drawn-out war because otherwise other countries will be dragged in. Imperialists need a quick victory.
Well said. Trump is the barometer. When the initial Israeli successes appeared he claimed credit. Then when Iran recovered quickly he became grumpy leaving the G7 scowling. As the battering of Israel continued his truth social tweets became increasingly deranged.
it seems israel fully coordinated a war plan with NATO/EU and started this .i mean israel didn’t cause any damage to US plans etc., .
israel and other spy agencies have penetrated so much.so they knew iran’s capabilites w.r.t missiles
Except that the Israeli minister of defense inadvertently blurted out when ambushed by a reporter that Israel was in trouble because they had underestimated Iranian missile capabilities and capacity. Otherwise I agree with you. Besides US air tankers there are British German and French nch ones as well fuelling Israeli jets.
