   Thank you for the informative and comprehensive analysis.

   • I think all instances of “Sadat” should be replaced with “Asad”. And Assad with Asad.

   • In the second paragraph from top Erdogan is mentioned in the context of Arab regimes in the region. As you know Turkey is not an Arab country.

   • What’s Shires?

   • “non-Shia Syrians”. Did you mean Shia Syrians?

   • Did you mean Strait of Hormuz?

   • No mention of a meeting of foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, and Turkey in Doha around Dec. 6th in which they coordinated the transition from Asad regime to Jihadists.

     Thanks for all the corrections. I will sort them out. I always forget Turkia is not an Arab state I will correct. Shires refers to the bourgeois counties around London. It’s a local term for counties like Hampshire. Yes Straits of Hormuz. Do you have more info on the Doha meeting I missed that one completely.
